Roger Bostdorff Joins The Pursuit Group
Veteran Sales Leader to Help Clients Increase Revenue

We're pleased to introduce Roger Bostdorff to clients and friends of The Pursuit Group.  Roger is a highly accomplished business-to-business sales consultant with a wealth of hands-on experience to help our clients meet their selling challenges.

 

With over 30 years experience as a Fortune 50 executive and a successful stint as President of a leading internet security firm, Roger can quickly identify sales obstacles and design solutions that are both practical and meaningful. 

 

For three decades, as an executive at IBM, he had responsibilities in Sales, Sales Management and General Management.  He has held positions that covered both Domestic as well as International territories.  Under his supervision, his branch was in the Top Five for five consecutive years relative to revenue produced/headcount.  While he was General Manager for Small and Medium Business in Ohio, Western Pennsylvania and Kentucky, his organization finished first in the Central Region for four consecutive years in percentage of revenue attained.  His International team improved from 74% of goal attainment to over 115% after Roger joined the leadership team.

As President of the internet security firm Gateway Defender, Inc. Roger was responsible for all operations, including sales, marketing, managing the technical staff and Customer Satisfaction. He directed the efforts to create Gateway Defenders, Inc.'s Sales Channel, which delivered 36% revenue growth in his first year. Among his innovations, Roger led Gateway Defender to a worldwide private-labeled channel relationship with Qwest. Roger also drove a customer satisfaction program where customers rated Gateway Defender's service a "9" out of a possible "10."

Roger has experience in all aspects of business management, including:  strategic planning, sales and marketing management, operations management, customer service, human resource development, project management, acquisitions, and training. He has extensive experience in working with key business executives to successfully identify and analyze business problems, define strategic solutions, and implement these solutions. Throughout his career, Roger has demonstrated the ability to quickly achieve positive results in both top line revenues and bottom line profits.
